Company management: Basics

Here you can find a checklist of things that are useful to know about company management of the Growboard.

• Understand user roles: Understand the restrictions and permissions of admins, growers, and guests. Know who to assign which role and how.
• Maintaining the Growboard setup: Know how to edit location/compartment/section/placement/sensor name to keep location information reflective of the real situation. 
• Assign multiple admins: Having more than one company admin ensures smooth management and coverage during absences. You should also check if you know how to set up relevant thresholds and notifications.
• Utilize the graph: Use the graph to check RSSI and VBAT values of the sensors to inspect their connection to the gateway and battery level, respectively.
  
  

You can check the sensor connectivity (RSSI) and battery level (VBAT) using the drop-down menu between the measure icons and time scope tool, marked with a grey 'Admin' text:

• RSSI: connection between the gateway and the sensor (recommended to be above -110dBm)
• VBAT: battery consumption level (if the graph shows a descending "staircase", a battery issue is likely – contact support@growficient.com)
