Connectivity problems with the gateway

The gateway shows one or two red lights. Or you see two green lights, but we cannot connect to the gateway for maintenance.

The gateway has two LED indicators:

  • Top one. When green it is able to receive sensor data.
  • Bottom one. When green it has connection with the Internet to send the sensor data to the dashboard.

If the bottom one keeps red, please check if it works if you connect the gateway to an Ethernet cable. If you get a green light when connected to the ethernet cable, it means that the Wifi settings are incorrect or that Wifi is not available on that place. Please raise a ticket with Growficient Support so we can check what the problem is.

Access to the Gateway

For maintenance and support, Growficient support requires access to the gateway. For example to check if the gateway is working well, install updates or change Wifi settings.

To enable access from outside, please check with your IT department that the Gateway can send and receive traffic through the UDP 9993 port.
