Creating the Growboard structure
How to add new levels? How to structure the Growboard? How to add compartments, sections, and placements?
The Growboard is meant to be a reflection of the set up of your facility. Therefore, the best person to create the Growboard structure is often the person working at the facility who uses the Growboard. You can read more about the principle of the structure from this article, under the subheading of 'The Growboard structure'.
Note! You must be an admin to make the following changes. If you do not have admin rights please contact your location admin or support@growficient.com to change this.
Creating a compartment
Compartments are the level below the location. You can add a compartment from the three dots from the right side of the location's name (in the photo, 'Peppers').

Click on the dots, then 'Admin options' → 'Add sublevel' and the window to name your compartment will open on the right side. Type in the name and click 'OK' from the bottom right.

Creating a section
You now have your compartment(s). A section is created just like a compartment, but now you will start by clicking the three dots next to the compartment name.

Name your section and click 'OK' from the bottom right corner

Creating a placement and linking a sensor
Adding a placement is done just like adding a compartment and a section, but now you will start the action from the three dots next to the section (Valve 1 in the photo)

This will open up the menu to add your placement. This is where you will link the sensor that will be at this placement.

Name the sensor, for example, 'R1 - Left' for the left sensor on row 1.
If you are an Optimize subscriber, you can also utilize the heatmap and set coordinates for the sensor here. More information on how to do this in this article.
Type in the sensor number under 'Device' and click 'OK' from the bottom right.
Repeat this for all the sensors you are installing. If you need to move sensors, please check the articles for moving sensors without moving their data and moving sensors with their data.
