How do I give my colleague access to Growboard?

When should I grant someone Grower or Admin access?

If a colleague within your organization needs access to your Growboard, you can add them to your location and assign the role that best matches their responsibilities.

For example:

• Grower: For colleagues who monitor irrigation, review sensor data, and use Growboard as part of their daily cultivation work.
• Administrator: For colleagues who also need to manage users, locations, permissions, or other Growboard settings, such as a head grower or location manager.

If the person only needs to view your Growboard data without making changes, assign them the Guest role instead. 

Before you start

Before adding a Guest:

• The person must have a Growboard account.
  • If they don't, please follow: How to setup "Users"? to create a new account for them first
• You must have administrator rights for the Growboard location.
  
  

How to add a colleague

Step 1. Open the Overview page

Step 2. Open the location settings

⋮ (three dots) → Admin options → Edit Location

Step 3. Go to the Users tab

Step 4. Add a new user

Type in the user's email address to search for the user's Growboard account.

Step 5. Assign the role

From the available roles, select Admin, Grower or Guest. depending on the access this user has.

Step 6. Save your changes by clicking 'OK'
