[Growboard and your devices](https://help.growficient.com/growboard?hsLang=en#growboard-and-your-devices) # How to install the Growficient app (Android) ## This article describes how to install the Growficient app on your mobile, tablet or desktop. ### Note Before installing the app, please note the following: - The app is still in Beta and is not yet publicly available. Only users who have access to the Beta features can use the app. - The app for mobile and tablet is **only available for Android** (not iOS) - The Android app is currently not yet available in the Google Play Store and can only be downloaded directly from the Growboard. ### Why using the app? Although the Growboard can very well be used from the web browser on your mobile device (phone, tablet), using the app has two main advantages: - The overall experience is better, the app is 'smoother' than the browser. - But most importantly, you will get **push notifications** when thresholds have reached. ### Install on Mobile / Tablet Installing the app on your mobile or tablet is straightforward but different than usual.  - It is currently **only available for Android**. iOS (iPhone and iPad) is not yet supported - Since the app is still in the final test phase ('Beta'), the app is not available in the Google Play Store.
