Set up your notification settings based on your personal preferences.
In the Growboard you can receive many notifications to help you optimize your irrigation. To give you more flexibility, you can now set up your notifications per:
- Location or placement of the sensor
- Feature (Plant Activity, Start Time, Thresholds)
- Method (Push notification, Growboard or E-mail)
With the following steps you can set up your notifications to your personal preferences.
- Go to your user settings via the "Settings" button on the side bar
- In the Settings screen, go to tab "Notifications"
- With the "Tabs" you can select the features that you want to set up for notifications.
- If you want to receive Push notifications on your device, make sure to toggle the "Web push on this device" setting in the top right corner.
- Make sure, to turn on the Web push notifications settings in your browser first.
- By selecting the check boxes in the "Default settings" you can set up the default notifications for this feature.
You can choose for:-
- In-App (show notifications in the Growboard Notification Center)
- Mail (receive an e-mail at the specified mail address in your user account settings).
- Web Push (receive notifications as a Push message on your telephone or browser)
- The "Default" option, allows you set the notifications for your default standard situation.
- By selecting a location, you can setup different notifications deviating from the default.
Note: In order to setup a location, make sure to check the option "Enable setting"

- If you want to set up custom notifications (different from the default depending on the location) you can click the "Add custom settings" button.
- Here you can select the location for which you want to set up customer notification settings.
- The location will be shown underneath the "Custom Settings" header for a quick overview of the customer settings. Same as in the default setup, you can quickly select the type of notifications you want to receive per location.
- To remove a location from the Custom settings, simply click on the - icon next to the location, and the default settings will apply to the location again.
