Company Management: What is it?

Company Management gives users more control and self-reliance in the use of the Growboard. It grants full authority and responsibility over the company’s Growboard, underlying locations, and users. 

In Company Management, we make a distinct separation between a company and a location.

The company is the main entity in control of the underlying location structures. This can be a parent company, a group, or the company itself. Company-wide authorization is controlled by the company admin. 

As such, they can add/edit the following for the entire company structure:

• Users
• Locations
• Devices

A location operates under the same structure as the company. All location-specific rights and structures are implemented by the location admin. 

As such, they can add/edit the following only for their own location:

• Users
• Compartments
• Sections
• Sensor placements
